hiya! i'm holly, a passionate, creative, & introverted pre-teen from texas, usa.

i lead a simple life with two lovely, supportive parents, a chinese dwarf hamster named fufu, and a golden retriever mix named perry, all of which i love very much! i play the ukelele and occasionally write original songs, and am also a big fan of minecraft :)

about the blog





holly's hometown was started in june of 2020, originally named r/relatable. she started the blog, believing that it would just be another pointless project that she would eventually abandon. she styled her blog to her liking and eventually came to love it. when she wrote her first post, she glowed with pride. holly hopes to grow her small blog into something she can be truly proud of!

day in my life: quarantine edition!

heyy welcome to my blog! for this post i'mma be writing about a day in my life, but as covid is still going around it's quarantine edition! think of it like a lil introduction/q&a about me. things have been looking up a little since texas is slowly being released from self isolation, but i'm still usually stuck @ home and don't really go anywhere. eleven am [?] day begins! i tend to wake up from nine to eleven depending on how late i go to bed, but last night i had stayed up to edit my blog & was pretty tired. i actually woke up at around eight but just went back to bed an hour later b why not? so i slept for a few hours more and woke up feeling rested sometime around ten or eleven. i skipped breakfast like i do a lot these days, and just watched television and read wc for a little before heading into my room to write a chapter of my  drarry fanfic . after i got bored of that, i hopped onto the blog and started revision on the  about  &  contacts  pages. abt

daily routines

hey luvs! so i know a lot of people struggle to find a routine they can slip into easily so i wanted to share some of mine maybe? i have a couple different routines that i vary from day to day but they're pretty similar + made for lazy people like me. . [ brush teeth yeah not much to say about this one, after wakey wakey i brush my teeth to get all those night germs off [?] . [ eat breakfast i've been skipping breakfast a lot lately but today i had a croissant and some kiwi so that was yum. normally i have pancakes or oatmeal because i don't really like big meals to start off the day, but it's usually something small or relatively healthy. . [ read or write i usually do the reading bit while i eat my breakfast, but it just generally helps to pass the time b quarantine umm . [ watch yt/tiktok ofc i'm not this super smart mary sue like everyone in my class thinks i am. i spend most of my day doing this because there's really nothing to do while social distancing

fav quarantine bops

umm so even though quarantine is lifting a little most of us are still stuck at home so i'd like to share a couple of my fav mixes to help pass the time. i tend to use these while doing chores and boring projects and it really helps make it more enjoyable. for me they give off really soft vibes and they're generally super relaxing. if you're not into this genre just go ahead and skip :) i also made a yt playlist of these songs.  click here to listen ultimately - khai dreams this song is one of my favourites because it's so fast paced but chill at the same time. its message is so positive and the voice sounds like a softer version of alec benjamin (??) i fall asleep to this a lot so would recommend as general night music! coffee breath - sofia mills  i don't like this one as much but the tune is pretty nice. i added it to the list because it makes me feel accompanied, but the reason it's not my personal favourite is because i don't like the lyrics. they soun
